Sellier & Bellot Ammunition 156 Grain Soft-Point (SP) Ammo Details

Sellier & Bellot of the Czech Republic has been in business since the early 19th century. In all that time they have witnessed the arrival and departure of percussion cap primers, endured both German and Russian occupation during WWII, and grown to produce three million round of ammunition a day!

Sellier & Bellot offers this 6.5 Creedmoor round to the deer hunter who appreciates consistent, reliable performance. As a soft point, its 156 grain bullet offers a predictable trajectory before crashing into its target with tremendous force. The bullet’s copper-zinc jacket keeps prevents it from breaking to bits as its soft lead core initiates violent expansion. You’ll find a wound channel far wider than .264” in your quarry after this bullet has finished doing its job!

Sellier & Bellot is on the side of Europe which is known for steel and Berdans, but their modern production facility uses neither. This round’s new brass case is an excellent component for handloaders and ought to feed and extract smoothly after firing a few times. Its Boxer primer is non-corrosive, and paired with its clean burning propellant it will keep your barrel unadulterated by residues which harm steel and accuracy.
