I have been using the #4 shot for at least 60yr's. in single barrels and one old double on our Farm's and Ranch. Hunting all types of small game. It will reach up into the tops of Cotton Wood trees for Red squirrel, Jack Rabbits, Baggers digging under the chicken house, Raccoon, Goony Birds flying out of the chicken house and many more pests and many good eatable animals. The shot size never disappointed me with that shot size. I have even used it on some rattle snakes in our saddle house that also has hen laying boxes on the floor at what could be called a " Line" cabin. I would recommend the #4 shot as an all around size to use.

It also works great in my Judge Public Defender too depending on what I am doing.

I bought 4 boxes of this ammo for my Taurus judge public defender. I loaded the gun, cocked it, and fired. The gun wouldn't cock after the first shot, and I tried to fire it by trigger and it acted like it was jammed. I pushed the cylinder out and back in and then it fired. Is it the gun or is it the ammo? I would like a fix on this.
