Winchester Ammunition 125 Grain Jacketed Hollow-Point (JHP) Ammo Details

Winchester has been one of the most recognized and respected names in ammunition since 1866. Today, WInchester continues to produce innovative products for the modern shooter. Their PDX1 Defender line is engineered for personal protection and features some of the most advanced threat-stopping technology in the industry.

PDX1 ammunition features high-performance jacketed hollow points. Each projectile has a unique notched nose design that separates into razor-sharp petals on impact. Expanding up to 1 ½ times the original bullet diameter, PDX1 projectiles carve a massive wound channel. Also, the copper jacket is welded to the lead core through a proprietary bonding process. The result is excellent weight retention for deep penetration and hard-hitting energy transfer.

Leaving the muzzle at a velocity of 1325 feet per second, each 125 grain bullet produces 487 foot pounds of muzzle energy. These loads perform well on demanding FBI test protocols, delivering incredible barrier penetration and terminal performance, making them ideal for real-world self-defense situations.

Featuring boxer primers and nickel-plated brass casings, these loads deliver smooth function while ensuring easy low-light chamber checks. Each package contains 20 rounds of factory fresh Winchester PDX1 Defender .357 Magnum ammunition.
