This round’s PSP features a sharp tip on one end and a tapered boat tail on the other. Together they streamline the bullet so it can hold on to a flat flight path, brush aside wind deflection, and hit the mark with more energy. The PSP’s solid gilding metal jacket is brawny enough to prevent the bullet from shattering apart after high-velocity impact. While the bullet stays intact enough to tunnel all the way to a heart or lung, its unjacketed tip produces wide expansion. A thoroughly effective hunting bullet, the PSP, but not so expensive that you’d hesitate to fire it at the range, too.

Fiocchi matches their 165 grain projectile with the noncorrosive Boxer primer and low-residue powder it needs to hit a muzzle velocity of 2,800 fps. At that rate the projectile’s 0.404 G1 ballistic coefficient will keep its velocity supersonic until approximately 988 yards. Brass-cased and reloadable!
