While we’re sure this ammo would really do a number on varmints and predators, it is specifically designed to deliver the accuracy and the terminal ballistics which can both quickly neutralize an immediate threat to your and your family’s safety.This cartridge is loaded with a 60 grain bullet. It’s heavier than usual, but that only means it carries more of the momentum it needs to penetrate to an effective depth within soft tissue. The protected hollow point bullet’s nose profile is engineered for smooth feeding followed by fast terminal expansion. The front half of the bullet’s lead core is designed to immediately fan outward as it plunges into soft tissue, which creates a large wound cavity while simultaneously reducing the risk of over-penetration; the rear half of the bullet’s core is welded to its tapered copper alloy jacket, which promotes greater weight retention and deeper resultant penetration.
This ammunition is loaded with nickel-plated brass cases. Nickel is reflective, which makes the ammo easier to see inside a magazine and chamber in poor lighting. Nickel is corrosion resistant, which serves to ensure the ammo stays smooth enough to cycle freely. Nickel is furthermore low-friction, which will help any semi-auto feed and extract more efficiently. 223 Rem ammo is compatible with 5.56x45 firearms, including AR-style rifles. Made in America.
