20rds – 223 Rem ADI World Class 69gr. HPBT MatchKing Ammo
Australian Defense Industries 69 Grain Hollow-Point Boat Tail (HP-BT) Ammo Details
Australian Munitions is, as you might have supposed, the largest supplier of munitions to the Australian Defence Force. They’re also the principal small arms ammo supplier to the New Zealand Defence Force. There are only about 14.5 firearms for every 100 Australian citizens – but fortunately for Australian Munitions, they can ship their ADI World Class ammo to a far freer country where there are 120 guns for every 100 citizens. (That’s U.S.!)This 223 Rem cartridge’s 69 grain bullet is actually one of America’s finest. The MatchKing by Sierra is a match-grade hollow point boat tail (the sort of hollow point that’s designed solely for accuracy, and which will not expand inside of soft tissue). The MatchKing combines a jacket drawn to a concentricity standard of ±0.0003”, a sleek overall profile with a narrow meplat which ends in a ballistically efficient boat tail base, and a rotationally stable form-fitted lead core to achieve such heightened accuracy. This is the bullet that wins more target competitions than all other manufacturers’ projectiles combined.
ADI World Class loads Missouri’s best with their own match grade brass case, which is carefully annealed to ensure uniform expansion within the chamber throughout ignition. This ammo’s powder features ADI World Class’ ballistic temperature independence technology, and is formulated to achieve a constant chamber pressure and muzzle velocity across a broad range of atmospheric conditions.
