1260rds – 7.62x39 Igman 124gr. FMJ Ammo

Military Surplus 124 Grain Full Metal Jacket (FMJ) Ammo Details

All the way from the Balkans comes this handsome crate of 7.62x39 ammo by Igman.
Igman has been exporting ammunition since 1952, but has begun shipping to the international market a great deal as of late. They’re especially proud to sell to the world’s leading military power.

You yourself may not be a military power per se, but you still like to treat your AK right. These rounds have new brass casings, and are socketed with sealed Berdan primers. Military grade ammo often has Berdans, which make it slightly easier to produce at the cost of making it non-reloadable.

This is M67 ball ammo, with a flatter based 124 grain full metal jacket projectile. The M67 was designed to be more lethal back in the 1960s, and will destabilize relatively quickly as it enters a soft target. It’s suitable for self-defense, but a perfect option for plinking and stockpiling as well. This ammo is hermetically sealed and is content to stay in its crate for ages.

Crate received missing handle- they seem to pull off easily, but I was able to do a field expedient repair. Somehow the crate wasn't damaged in shipping which was miraculous due to the damage done to the outer box- suggestion: something this dense should not be shipped in an oversized box regardless of how much cushion you put inside (just doesn't work out well). Ship these in a tight fitting box just large enough for the crate, add lot's of shipping tape to the outside corners. Making a custom box/cutting down to fit (if necessary) is just as quick as stuffing an oversized box with dunnage/cushion materials. (and maybe cheaper) Some bands wouldn't hurt either. FYI.
