This Outside-the-Waistband (OWB) holster from Blackhawk is a nice option for high volume range work or IDPA BUG (Back-Up Gun) side matches with your pocket-size Glock 42. Blackhawk's SERPA "Auto Lock" design uses a paddle mechanism which is deactivated by the shooter's trigger finger during draw but otherwise secures the pistol in place with excellent retention. As a level 2 holster, the SERPA CQC also incorporates standard adjustable tension via a body-mounted screw.
The mouth of this injection-molded holster is cut low in front of the ejection port which facilitates a faster, smoother draw while also aiding in safer and more positive reholstering. This G42 holster ships with Blackhawk's adjustable Belt Loop Platform which not only accommodates different belt widths but provides a means of changing degrees of cant in order to suit the draw angle of preference.
