If you agree, then you’ll appreciate the catchinly named EPS Carry–GR-MRS enclosed handgun sight by Holosun: compatible with compact models including the G43 MOS, G48 MOS, Springfield Hellcat, SIG P365 X/XL, and many more.

This high-tech solution to fast acquisition of close-range targets weighs just one ounce. (That means it will weigh you down about as much as $1.20 in dimes.) The EPS features anodized 7075 T6 aluminum alloy (the same material used to make aircraft wings). The reflex sight is powered by a coin cell battery (up to 50,000 hours of continual operation, or 5.7 years) – but thanks to Holosun’s Solar Failsafe Technology the little optic is powered by natural and artificial light alike when its battery runs out. Holosun’s Shake Awake Technology also conserves battery by automatically shutting down the device when it detects prolonged inactivity.

A little laser casts a green reticle on the EPS’s 0.58”x0.77” window. It’s highly visible 540 nm light (a wavelength chosen for its apparent tendency to pop out and be seen more easily; the aspherical glass lens also eliminates distortion). It’s a 2 MOA single dot surrounded by a 32 MOA circle. Ten daylight brightness settings. Two night vision brightness settings. One convenient reflex sight for a subcompact! (RMSc-to-K adapter plate included.)
