20rds - 357 Magnum Corbon 200gr. Hard Cast Ammo

20rds - 357 Magnum Corbon 200gr. Hard Cast Ammo Details

This 357 Magnum cartridge by Corbon features a 200 grain hard cast bullet. Although the projectile may look similar to lead at face value, it performs nothing like the relatively soft metal in terms of terminal performance. A hard cast bullet is made of lead alloy which has been thoroughly toughened with the addition of a substance such as tin or antimony. The result is a bullet that will provide zero deformation during penetration, letting it burrow extremely deep through game in order to strike sensitive vital organs. This round could very well become your best friend the next time you venture into bear country. (We mean the Rockies, not Chicago.) Furthermore, this bullet’s flat profile means it will function well in a lever action rifle such as the Henry Big Boy.

This round’s virtually perfect weight retention is complemented by its high quality brass casing, which you may reload several times if you wish. Its propellant burns clean to save your weapon’s bore, and its primer is sensitive to guarantee a shot when you have to take one.

I moved to 180 gr. Federal Because I didn’t know about this site.
I really didn’t believe the people tell me that the 357 mag 158 gr. Would disappoint if used in a rifle. The barrel length was the reason.
Once I tried the Federal 180 gr. I was pleasantly surprised! Could not believe the distance achieved by the 357mag 180 gr.
I would welcome the 200 gr. & see the performance.
Simply put: if one is hunting Deer or Boar, I would not attempt without the correct ammunition.
