This ammo is very disappointing. Yes, it is low recoil but it is FAR less powerful than other brands of low recoil (tactical) shells I have bought at Ammunition to Go and other stores. It is about as powerful as birdshot really. It does not have enough power to cycle my Mossberg 930 and I suspect it wouldn't cycle any semi-auto shotgun. If a full power magnum shell is a 10 in recoil, then the regular low recoil (Ranger) shells would be about 7. These would be about 3 in comparison.<br />

I will say that it would be ideal for a pump shotgun if you wanted a very light recoil shell with low performance in penetration and such. It would be suitable for children and others that are scared of shooting. It might be really good for training purposes but only for pump-action guns. I literally can't use these shells and will be selling them or giving them to someone with a pump action gun.
