5.45X39 Ammo
The 5.45x39mm rifle cartridge is not to be confused with the 5.56x45mm or 7.62x39mm. It was introduced in ‘74 alongside the AK-74, and still serves as the Russian military’s primary service rifle round. A few American companies have been known to load 5.45x39, although the vast majority of it sold in the United States has been steel-cased and bimetal-jacketed ammo from Russia.
