50rds – 9mm Sellier & Bellot Subsonic 140gr FMJ Ammo

50rds – 9mm Sellier & Bellot Subsonic 140gr FMJ Ammo Details

This 9mm cartridge by Sellier & Bellot sends its 140 grain projectile out of the muzzle at a velocity of only 1,001 fps, which is over 100 fps slower than what it would take for it to break the sound barrier. As the result it produces a substantially softer report, which is great for training where you might trespass on the sensibilities of people living nearby or introducing a novice shooter to the sport when they might be put off by loud bangs. This round will perform especially well in conjunction with a suppressor, which will soften its already quiet report to a veritable “pff.”

This round’s bullet is also suited for training owing to its flattened meplat, which will stamp a neat hole through a paper target to enable you to better spot where your shot has placed. Sellier & Bellot’s brand new brass casing will behave well in any platform of firearm, making it an invaluable component for future handloading projects. You can even make your own subsonic loads.
