50rds – 38 S&W Magtech 146gr. LRN Ammo Details

The 38 S&W (also known as the 9×20mmR, and not to be confused with the 38 Special) dates all the way back to 1877 when it was used in single action revolvers. If you’re lucky enough to own a classic Enfield No.2 Mk I or have gotten your paws on the Indian-made 380 Mk IIz, then you’re dearly in need of some proper ammo for the thing. Fortunately we keep these cartridges by Magtech in stock just for people like you.

This round sports a 146 grain projectile, much lighter than the 200 grain goose egg that the caliber originally sported. It’s a lead round nose -- economical given lead’s great ubiquity within the earth’s crust, accurate thanks to its streamlined profile, uniform density, and lack of any jacket that could have had some variation in its concentricity, and perfect not only for target shooting and plinking but also acceptable for self-defense given soft lead’s tendency to expand and tumble about in a soft target. Magtech gave this round their characteristically uniform brass casing and Boxer primer, so you can expect consistent performance out of each of these 50 rounds.

This 38 S&W is for an old Ivy Johnson that I use on the tractor around the ranch. My Grand Father used it in the same way as did my Father.
Works great, looks like hell plus it shoots straight. If it ain't broke don't fix it!

Really nice ammo. It's hard to find for reasonable price.
