50rds – 22 LR Federal American Eagle Rimfire Suppressor 45gr. CPRN Ammo

50rds – 22 LR Federal American Eagle Rimfire Suppressor 45gr. CPRN Ammo Details

This 22 LR cartridge from Federal’s American Eagle line of ammunition features a 45 grain projectile. The bullet’s copper plating assures it won’t cover your bore with lead residue, and its round nose profile facilitates penetration through tough plinking targets. This round is designed to deliver its very best out of a suppressed firearm thanks to its relatively heavy bullet and specially selected propellant. Its subsonic muzzle velocity of only 970 fps assures it won’t issue a loud crack that a suppressor would have been unable to blot out.

American Eagle ammunition may be affordable, but it’s by no means low quality. This cartridge’s propellant burns especially clean so as to permit less frequent cleaning and help assure that your weapon functions without issue. Its Federal brass casing cycles with the utmost reliability and will resist corrosion until it’s ready for its big moment, and its primer is exceptionally reliable.

I bought this ammo for suppressor use. LRN ammo was leaving significant lead deposits in my Silencerco Sparrow so I wanted to try a plated subsonic. It reduced the leading but did not eliminate it.
