The HoneyBadger is not a jacketed hollow point. It hasn’t got a nose cavity at all, as a matter of fact, which is why it won’t fill up with debris before it reaches the threat. At that point the bullet’s unique nose profile channels hydraulic energy inward and then outward at high velocity. That produces a massive wound channel – easily double to quadruple the HoneyBadger’s 0.355” diameter. The solid copper bullet doesn’t splinter apart as it penetrates barriers or soft tissue, so it reliably conserves the momentum it requires to penetrate to an effective depth for defensive applications.
