This .22 Magnum (WMR) ammunition from Hornady delivers the accuracy, reliability, and terminal performance that have made Hornady famous. Each new production cartridge is loaded with a 30 grain V-Max projectile. Hornady V-Max bullets are specially engineered for varmints, offering explosive expansion and enhanced accuracy out to 125 yards. Each bullet features a red polymer tip designed to flatten in-flight trajectory and initiate terminal expansion.

Leaving the muzzle at a velocity of 2200 feet per second with 322 foot pounds of energy, these loads are perfect for groundhogs, prairie dogs, squirrels, and other varmints. This non-corrosive, rimfire ammunition features quality brass cases. Ideal for high-volume shooting, this package contains 10 50-round boxes of Hornady V-Max .22 Magnum ammunition.

I just got a new 22 mag rifle and started out using these Hornady's. I was very disappointed. 3 to 4 rounds out of 10 wouldn't fire. Part of my problem was withe the gun and I fixed that, but I still get 1 out 10 rounds that don't fire. Tried other brands of ammo and no problems so this ammo definitely seems to have firing issues. Sure didn't expect that out of Hornady. Cool looking bullet though.

Use this on hogs, coyote, coons and so on varmint wise. Extremely accurate from my savage. 1/2" 5 shot groups at 100yrds. 1" on a good day at 200yrd. I must say I was amazed. Went back to store and bought 15 boxes of same lot#.

RAN THIS THROUGH MY PMR30, RAN FANTASTIC!!! ALOT OF THUUNDER& LIGHTING THROUGH THE BARREL.

at 100 yards I am holding very tight groups and they will drop a coon in its tracks at the same distance...best 22 Mag ammo I have ever bought...thanks !!

The 17 HMR round is one of the best varmint round there is. It is fast and tears them up. Love my Savage 17 HMR
