4000rds – 22 LR Federal American Eagle 38gr. CPHP Ammo Details

The world suffers from a profound overabundance of things which should have holes in them but have not got them yet. Old magazines full of colorful pictures? Cans that are destined for a recycling plant? Rodents that treat your birdfeeder like an all you can eat buffet? Rabbits that are getting a little too chummy with your butter lettuce patch? Each and every one of those things NEEDS to have holes in them. And when you’ve got this fine 22 LR ammo from Federal’s American Eagle label, you can be the one to put them there.

This is an accurate load with its supersonic muzzle velocity and uniformly distributed 38 grain projectile. The bullet is plated in a nice, thin sheath of copper to lessen its impact on a weapon’s bore, and is tipped with the nose cavity it needs to wreak total devastation through small varmints’ soft, sensitive bodies. An American Eagle round represents a lot of effort to keep costs low without impacting quality, so this round’s casing, primer, and propellant are all good specimens.

It's been a long time since I've seen this ammo, was starting to think it was discontinued. I've never had any problems with this ammo and it has been very accurate in my Henry rifle and Ruger pistol.
