25rds – 380 Auto Hornady American Gunner 90gr. XTP Ammo Details

These affordable .380 ACP rounds from Hornady represent diehard American ingenuity by way of quality components and data-driven design. The "American Gunner" line-up of ammunition uses time-proven load criteria which has been optimized for function and performance via Hornady's own cases, primers, and finely tuned propellant selections. Each of these rounds is topped off with an "eXpanding Terminal Performance" (XTP) projectile which weighs in at 90 grains; this is a common weight for the caliber and offers steadfast cycling alongside familiar ballistics both in-flight and at the target.

Hornady's XTP handgun projectile is a jacketed hollow-point (JHP) bullet which is so notable for its accuracy, uniform copper jacket, covered base, and consistent core density that it is often chosen by serious competitors for match use. As a JHP intended for self-defense, the XTP's hollow cavity and jacket serrations are engineered to produce wide expansion upon impact even at low velocities which are prevalent when using short-barreled carry pistols. During entry, the bullet's jacket will peel back as the lead core mushrooms out allowing the bullet to slow down and transfer its energy to the target for a sure stop.

Hornady has been around since the late 1940s and has brought impressive projectiles and innovative finished ammunition to bear since then. Their XTP bullets are so well-respected that other well-known companies use them for their factory loads.

Good quality ammo. Functions well in LC380. Recommend rotation more often than nickle plated brass as it will tarnish over time. Good practice to do so anyway.
