This high-quality .38 Special ammunition is manufactured by Fiocchi Munizioni, a privately owned company headquartered in Lecco, Italy. Fiocchi has been producing ammunition in Europe since 1876. Since 1986, the company has been manufacturing ammo for its American market from its state-of-the-art production facility in Ozark, Missouri.
Perfect for self-defense, these premium handgun loads feature a 125 grain XTP jacketed hollow point projectile. XTP (eXtreme Terminal Performance) hollow points were designed by industry superstar Hornady to deliver serious knockdown power, reliable terminal expansion, and optimal soft tissue penetration. One of the most popular handgun bullets on the market, XTP have a balanced, swaged lead core and a drawn gilding metal jacket.
XTP hollow points have no exposed lead. The metal jacket protects the projectile nose ensuring proper hollow point function upon impact. This bullet design paired with Fiocchi’s nickel-plated brass cases provide trouble-free feeding and smooth chamber extraction, especially in modern sem-autos.
This new production ammunition is assembled with premium boxer primers and reliable powders to create optimal ballistic performance shot after shot. Leaving the muzzle at a velocity of 1050 feet per second, each +P overpressure round generates 306 foot pounds of muzzle energy. Each package contains 25 rounds.

This is great ammo at a decent price for my needs which is home protection or even target practice. I know that there is more expensive .38 Special ammo out there for more money but I will stick with the Fiocchi XTP bullet I have faith in.
