This budget-friendly 12 Gauge shotshell by Winchester is loaded with the full ounce of #6 lead shot. The .11” diameter pellets are smack dab in the middle of the range for birdshot sizes, and deliver an approximately 12” diameter kill zone at three dozen yards. This shot is ideal for the more substantial upland game birds that you could happen upon in the field. Nab a gobbler in the neck with a volley of #6 and Thanksgiving is quite taken care of, and it’s fine for partridge as well.

Winchester outfitted this shell with a hinged wad, that’s at once able to deliver a tight and accurate pattern while at the same time treating your shoulder more gently.
