This low-recoil 12 Gauge shotshell by Remington features the target shooter’s usual 1-1/8 ounce column of lead shot. Its muzzle velocity is just lower than average at 1,100 fps, which means its lower-recoil performance is mostly the product of Newton's Third Law in action.Gun Club Target Series label ammunition boasts some pretty impressive components. Each reloadable shell harbors a hot-burning and nonmercuric Premier STS primer, a recoil and shot deformation reducing Power Piston one-piece plastic wad, and a payload of clean-burning powder. Remington even goes so far as to load Gun Club shells according to the same standards for quality as their elite Nitro 27 series ammo!
Remington’s Gun Club Grade Shot is made of 2% antimony lead and screened multiple times to ensure uniformity of pellet diameter. The #8 shot pellet is your best friend while you’re blasting clays over conventional distances, so you’re not compromising too much range when you opt for this low-recoil ammo. (This 2-1/2 dram equivalent shotshell will not cycle a semi-automatic shotgun.)
