NobelSport’s High Brass Field line of ammunition is a loyal friend for hunting a broad variety of upland game birds, and it’s no less suitable for squirrels and buns.NobelSport loads this 12 Gauge hunting shell with a heavy 1-1/4 ounce column of #6 shot. The 280 or so shot pellets in this shell are made of tempered lead – extra hard, which wards off the degree of deformation that causes flat spotting and resultant inefficient patterns.
This shell doesn’t just rely on its inflexible shot to put more pellets on target. NobelSport’s two-piece NSI wad absorbs much of the shock of ignition and perfectly aligns the shot column within the barrel before it separates cleanly from the shot immediately following expulsion. The NSI wad is specifically engineered for Olympic trap, where tight, consistent patterns are key to winning the gold. But when you want a grouse instead of gold, the NSI wad’s keen performance is just as welcome.
NobelSport manufactures all of their shotshell components at their state-of-the-industry production facility in Italy. These include straight-walled high-density tubes and hard brass heads, as well as reliable primers and potent Vectan A powder. Everything is expertly assembled to make one highly reliable shell.
