Hornady Ammunition 174 Grain Hollow-Point Boat Tail (HP-BT) Ammo Details
You can describe Hornady Ammunition with three simple words - accurate, deadly, and dependable. From the company’s humble beginnings as a basic two man operation, Hornady has emerged as a world leader in innovative high-performance ammunition. Hornady’s Vintage Match ammo is designed to duplicate the original military specs of vintage rifles like the Mauser, Lee-Enfield, and Swedish Mauser. Engineered with the competitive shooter in mind, Hornady Vintage Match provides a factory match grade alternative to more expensive hand-loaded ammunition.
Each of these new production 7.62x54R cartridges is topped with a 174 grain boat tail hollow point projectile. The propellant in each cartridge is carefully formulated for optimal pressure, velocity, and consistent accuracy. This ammunition is loaded in boxer primed brass cases carefully selected for uniformity, internal capacity, weight, and consistent wall concentricity.
Leaving the muzzle at a velocity of 2650 feet per second, each round generates a muzzle energy of 2713 foot pounds. All Hornady Vintage Match loads are held to exacting tolerances and must pass stringent quality control measures before being released to the consumer. With incredible lot-to-lot consistency, Hornady Vintage Match strives to make the company goal of “ten bullets through one hole” a reality for all shooters. This ammo comes in 20-round boxes.

This is truly awesome ammo. It performs great in my Vepr. I can hold near sub MOA groupings.

His has to be he very best ammo I've shot through both my Mosins and my Vepr. 3/4" groupings at 100 yards and just over 1" at 200 yards with iron sights.
