Berger’s Hybrid Hunter is high tech bullet that combines two unique geometries in order to totally optimize its performance. The 135 grain projectile on this 6.5 Creedmoor cartridge begins with a secant ogive profile, a shape that creates very little turbulence in flight and accordingly promotes a flattened trajectory, strengthened resistance to vertical and cross winds, and heartier energy delivery on impact. As the Hybrid Hunter’s profile shifts to a tangent ogive further back, it is insensitive to seating depth and better aligns itself with a bore’s rifling.
