20rds – 38 Special +P Remington HTP 158gr. LHP Ammo

20rds – 38 Special +P Remington HTP 158gr. LHP Ammo Details

You and your 38 Special revolver need all the help you can get if you ever have to defeat an immediate threat to your personal safety together. Don’t count on questionable ammo for so important a job. Recruit Remington High Terminal Performance instead!

This is 38 Special +P ammunition. It’s loaded to a higher chamber pressure, so it launches its 158 grain bullet to a fast muzzle velocity of 890 fps. As a lead hollow point, the bullet is designed to translate its superior energy into rapid outward terminal expansion – doubling its original 0.357” diameter as it penetrates soft tissue under optimal conditions. The cavernous wound cavity the LHP leaves in its wake will speak for itself.

An HTP load’s brass cases possesses straight walls and concentric rims, as well as the durability they need to become valuable at a reloading press once emptied. This ammo’s non-jacketed bullets may produce relatively more barrel fouling, but Remington’s Kleanbore primers ward off harmful corrosion.

38 Special +P ammunition is only recommended for revolvers that are designed to accommodate its extra chamber pressure. This ammunition is safe for all 357 Magnum firearms including lever-action rifles.
