20rds – 308 Win Australian Outback 150gr. Swift Scirocco II Ammo

Australian Outback 150 Grain Polymer Tipped Ammo Details

Crikey! It’s Australian Outback’s 308 Win cartridge loaded with a 150 grain Scirocco II projectile! You can identify Swift’s Scirocco at a glance thanks to its Signature Black Tip, a spear of polymer that measurably reduces frontal air resistance. It derives even greater accuracy from its advanced secant ogive profile, rotational stability improving long driving band, and thick boat tail which both raises ballistic coefficient and prevents deformation during ignition. This bullet hits hard in impact, driving its tip inward to initiate massive expansion that is made all the more potent by a progressively tapered jacket. This is a bonded bullet, and thus able to retain an admirable percentage of its weight as it widens within game.

Australian Outback’s ammo features their proprietary Ballistic Temperature Independence technology. It works to keep a round’s muzzle velocity stable no matter the bitter cold or searing heat it’s asked to ignite in, so no American climate is going to cost you your kill. This round is brass cased and non-corrosive Boxer primed, and just the ticket for handloading -- you can even reload with more Sciroccos once you’ve become a fan of them!

Great ammo for targets or game. This bullet is known to perform on big game, so you can shoot wild boar, elk and black bear with confidence! I hope to buy 1000rds next time they are in stock. Best factory ammo I have ever shot in my Christensen CA10. I got 0.35" 3-shot groups at 50 yds.
