Engineered with progressive dynamic propellants, Hornady Superformance ammunition is designed to increase the performance of your rifle without increasing recoil, chamber pressure, or barrel fouling. Superformance's progressive propellants effectively increase velocity ratings up to 200 feet per second.
Each of these 20 rounds of .308 Hornady Superformance ammo is loaded with a 150 grain GMX bullet. These hard-hitting projectiles deliver deep penetration with a non-traditional, monolithic construction. Using a copper/zinc alloy, GMX projectiles retain 95 percent of their original weight and expand up to 1 ½ times their original diameter.
These rounds also feature a hard polymer tip that initiates expansion upon impact, driving into the hollow cavity at the front of the bullet and generating a devastating mushrooming effect. The result of these innovative design features is powerful, deep penetration, and a large wound chamber that leaves a massive, easy-to-track blood trail.
Perfect for large game, including mule deer, elk, and moose, these high performance loads are new production, non-corrosive, in boxer primed, and reloadable brass cases.
