This cartridge’s 150 grain pointed soft point isn’t so sophisticated that you’d hate yourself for using it for target practice. Its light weight and streamlined frontal profile grant it a fairly flat overall trajectory – one that climaxes at about 5.4” en route to 300 yards (assuming 1.5” sight height; .38 G1 BC). The PSP’s exposed lead core equips it for rapid terminal expansion; its tough jacket promotes the weight retention needed to secure a deep wound channel.
