Barnes Bullets 100 Grain TTSX BT Ammo Details

This 25-06 Rem cartridge from Barnes’ VOR-TX line of ammunition features a 100 grain Tipped TSX boat tail projectile. The bullet offers everything that made the original TSX so effective, including its California compliant pure copper body and multiple rings cut into its shank. The TTSX BT improves on that even further with its streamlined polymer tip which considerably heightens its ballistic coefficient, as well as its redesigned nose cavity which delivers faster expansion than ever before. This bullet’s superior weight retention and the four extremely sharp cutting petals it produces during penetration make its terminal performance positively catastrophic to game, assuring a clean, nearly instantaneous, and thoroughly humane kill.

Its deadly bullet isn’t the only reason that this is a great hunting round. This cartridge further offers a factory fresh brass casing which evinces Barnes’ considerable devotion to quality. Its non-corrosive primer is ready to go at the strike of a pin, and its propellant reliably delivers a fast and consistent muzzle velocity of 3,225 fps.

I took a bull elk two years ago at 120yrds. Chest shot and he only went about 20yrds before piling up. I know alot of people will tell you that the 25-06 is to light for elk. Don't believe it. Barnes made a believer out of me.
