Remington Ammunition 150 Grain Closed Tip Flat Base Ammo Details
The 300 AAC Blackout rifle is a machine that needs to go blap. If you’ve recently run out of blap pills – or just want to stock up so the blapping never has to cease – then we’ve got Remington’s UMC series ammo by the case for you! This cartridge’s closed tip flat base bullet is a bit of an oddity, no two ways about it, but it behaves just like the full metal jacket you’re already familiar with. The CTFB’s nonmagnetic jacket wears a cannelure to prevent setback in the magazine, and its flat, circular base also promotes greater accuracy by creating a highly uniform surface for propellant gasses to exert their energy against. Its bullet’s 150 grain weight makes this a true supersonic cartridge – not optimal for suppressor use, but flat-shooting (and also just a little bit more economical to boot).
These range loads’ brass cases are fresh out of the factory and have never been inside a rifle before. They were annealed (i.e. heat-treated) for added suppleness; they just weren’t buffed up for better cosmetics afterward. Noncorrosive Boxer primers make Remington’s 300 BLK ammo just as rust-free as it is reloadable.
