200rds – 243 Win Browning BXR 97gr. Rapid Expansion Matrix Tip Ammo

Browning 97 Grain Polymer Tipped Ammo Details

All the deer in the world can’t become yours. There are too many deer, and there just aren’t enough hours in a day. But theoretically, you could harvest 200 whitetail, blacktail, mule and antelope with a single case of 243 Win ammunition. Which ammo would that be, you ask? Why, nothing less than Browning BXR, of course!

This round comes to you all the way from Illinois, and it’s loaded with the 97 grain Rapid Expansion Matrix Tip bullet. It’s deadly because it is accurate: sleek and balanced enough to exhibit a respectable 0.371 B1 ballistic coefficient. If it’s centered up 1.5” and attains its advertised muzzle velocity of 3,100 fps, then it ought to reach 300 yards without having to rise higher than 4.7”.

Once the Rapid Expansion Matrix Tip’s flat trajectory connects with the quarry, it becomes even deadlier still. The copper/polymer matrix tip breaks down and smashes into the nose cavity, thus spreading out the jacket and core in a breakneck display of terminal expansion. A decisive end to any deer’s day!

Nickel plated brass cases. Reloadable. Corrosion resistant. Smooth cycling. Very nice!
