I’d never heard of these before, but thought I’d gamble with them. I’ve run around 200 rounds thru various shotguns, not one issue what so ever. Unless something has changed over the years, the three cases I have are all around 2 7/16” and not closer to 3” like stated here in the past.

An update on the test we did. Shot these at an old water heater and the first shot of this load caved in the impact area. This was at 10 yards so you can imagine what this would do to a two legged predator. Accuracy is good considering the recoil these bad boys have. Again I would highly recommend these for home defense.

This stuff is some hard hitting stuff! No big deal with my Remington 870 and the longer shell. This will def do the job for home defense.

Good buckshot for the price. As others have stated, this is not a true 2 3/4" crimped shell, its unfired length is closer to a 3" shell. It would still work fine in a 2 3/4" chambered gun however because of its construction. These have a plastic cap over the shot but the #4 buck has a cardboard cap (certainly not good for wet environment). Nothing fancy..unbuffered, unplated shot, but still gives a decent pattern in my guns. It may reduce your shotguns magazine capacity because of its length.

I was worried about these feeding correctly through my auto-loading shotgun (older Remington 1100). They were not a problem, though, as i had no feeding problems whatsoever. Awesome for the price! I will be stocking up soon!
