Fiocchi’s Golden Waterfowl Bismuth line of ammunition lets you use the hottest new thing in the duck hunting world: bismuth!

Bismuth is about 25% denser than steel. That’s why a single pellet of #6 bismuth shot weighs approximately the same as a pellet of #4 steel shot, and accordingly strikes its target with a comparable amount of kinetic energy. But because its shot pellets are 0.02” smaller in diameter, this 12 Gauge round fires about 88% more shot pellets at its target. That translates to a far denser and more effective pattern!

Bismuth isn’t as dense as lead, but Fiocchi makes up for that disparity by loading this magnum shell to a piping hot 1,450 fps muzzle velocity. Bismuth’s inherently high corrosion resistance keeps the shot pellets smooth enough to pattern efficiently in humid and damp conditions. Powder and water don’t mix, of course, which is why Fiocchi loads these quack-attackers with moisture resistant hulls. Try out a box or two and you might never go back to steel shot again!
