5rds – 12 Gauge Winchester Dual Bond 2-3/4" 375gr. Sabot Slug Ammo Details

This 12 Gauge shell by Winchester features a 375 grain sabot slug. The “bullet within a bullet” hollow point slug has a heavy outer jacket that not only protects its inner jacket during penetration, but extends six sharp cutting petals as it does so. As the outer jacket peels back the inner jacket provides yet more expansion for a production of 12 petals total.

The proprietary bonding process that this slug has undergone has welded its lead core and its inner bullet’s jacket together. This enables it to retain the great weight that is requisite for deep and debilitating penetration. Its terminal performance coupled with the exceptional reliability provided by this shell’s sensitive primer, clean burning propellant, and sturdy roll crimped hull make this shell a must if you plan to hunt deer with a shotgun.

Please note that this shell is intended for use in shotguns with fully rifled barrels only.

Great ammo and at a GREAT price!!
These are the only rounds that shoot consistently well through my Mossberg 595. Locally, stores that used to sell this ammo stopped a few years ago for some reason nor could any of them order it. The last time I bought any locally I bought the last 3 boxes they had and they lasted me a couple of deer seasons. This year was the same as well, no luck locally so I hit the inter webs and I found this website, luckily you all had it. AND bonus!!! it was less than I was paying locally to get it even with shipping.
As far as performance of the ammo it self, everything stated on the box is accurate!! Period. I consistently shoot 3 inch groups at 100 yds (although I have never shot a deer at more than 60-70 yards where I hunt) there are only 2 hits, me hitting the deer and the deer hitting the ground. Weight retention and structural integrity of the bullet after impact is almost 100%.
