This 40-round magazine from Magpul is a great way to increase the capacity of your AR-15 for competition or home defense while maintaining a decently sized footprint. As a generation 3 PMAG, this magazine features an over-insertion stop which prevents excessive travel during reloads. The magazine also bears a paint pen dot matrix at its base so that a shooter can clearly mark their property and prevent mix-ups during classes and matches.

The polymer body of the magazine is highly durable and built upon constant curve geometry for seamless feeding. Reliability is further enhanced by Magpul's famous anti-tilt, self-lubricating follower design which provides proper index and dependable stability. Each magazine can contain 40 rounds of .223/5.56mm or .300 BLK ammunition.
