It’s 19 parts tungsten, one part nickel and iron, and that composition makes it well over 50% denser than conventional lead. That makes a huge difference in performance for two crucial reasons. First, such vastly denser shot retains substantially more momentum. TSS hits harder on impact, and it penetrates deeper as well. Second, the denser composite permits you to hunt turkey with much smaller shot pellets. You’re going to see a mighty dense and effective pattern when you pepper your quarry with tiny #9 shot pellets!
