5rds – 12 Gauge Remington Express TAC 8 2-3/4" 8-Pellet 00 Buckshot Ammo Details

TAC 8 Buckshot from Remington's "Express" line offers shooters premium home defense features at a budget price! These 12 gauge shotshells are made using high-brass heads, moisture-resistant hulls, and 209 primers with waterproof sealant that guarantees reliable ignition. A 2-3/4 inch hull length gives these rounds compatibility the widest range of pump-action and semi-automatic shotguns. Each shell contains eight 00 buckshot pellets which sit atop Remington's one-piece, Power Piston wad. This wad is designed to soften felt recoil while also preventing the shot from making contract with the inside of a barrel which could cause flat-spotting and lead to ineffective penetration.

When the effort of the wad is combined with pellet-buffering polymer granules and hardened lead shot material, it results in extremely tight patterns. Tighter shot patterns extend your scattergun's range and visit more effective wounds on a threat in order to bring violent situations to quicker end. Remington has nearly 200 years of experience under its belt and is credited with many unique caliber designs as well as innovative firearms that are in use around the globe. Their wide variety of ammunition answers the needs of hunters, competitors and law enforcement officers at all budget levels.

I've been a Remington guy for over 40 years. In fact I've never hunted with a slug or rifle. However when I saw the tac 8 I have to admit I was hesitant so I only bought two boxes just to see how they would pattern in my particular shotgun. When hunting with buckshot you to be very diciplined when taking your shot , know your gun and how it patterns and just hunt like you bow hunt. I don't hunt with anything fancy , just a fox double barrel Sterling edition....it's never let me down. Folks say "buckshot just doesn't have the power"....last year I shot a 215lb 6point at 32 yards and all 8 pellets made a complete pass through... needless to say I was very surprised. I've tried the federal flight control and it's good stuff , but so is the tac 8. So if your a die-hard buckshot guy give it a try....you just may be surprised.
