5rds - 12 Ga. Federal Power Shok 2 3/4" 27 Pellet #4 Buck Details

Federal is known among shooters for producing some of the most technologically advanced sporting ammunition on the market. Founded in 1922, Federal manufactures high-quality, American-made ammo at its cutting edge facility located in Anoka, Minnesota. Perfect for wild hogs, deer, predators, or home invaders, Federal Power Shok 12 gauge ammunition delivers better penetration, increased velocity, and superior stopping power when compared to conventional shotgun loads.

Each new production 2 ¾ inch shotshell is loaded with 27 lead pellets of #4 buckshot. These quality shotshells also feature Federal’s patented Triple Plus Wad system and a granulated plastic buffer. This design improves shot alignment, increases shot pattern density, and preserves pellet integrity ensuring accuracy, penetration, and downrange accuracy.

This ammunition produces a consistent muzzle velocity of 1325 feet per second. Each package contains 5 rounds.

Depending upon the intended purpose of course this
#4 buck is an excellent choice.
I served 22.5 years as a police officer and the
last several years as firearms training officer.
( I was disabled in the line.)
#4 buck was the "go to" shotgun anti-personal ammo.
It penetrate well at police encounter distances
and the #4 buck has more pellets thus an increase
in damage and isn't likely to over penetrate.
Sorry to be so morbid but this was for real world
    encounters.
It's also excellent for hunting fox and other
    "varmints" at s.g. ranges.

These patterned very well at 50 yards with a mod choke.
