Fiocchi Ammunition 145 Grain Lead Round Nose (LRN) Ammo Details

This 38 S&W cartridge by Fiocchi is capped off with a 145 grain projectile. That is significantly lighter than the British military’s original 200 grain bullet in this caliber, but one that pleasingly results in a greater muzzle velocity. Also like the original, this round’s bullet is made of soft lead. That gives it the ability to expand within soft targets, which is the very reason the British switched over to a full metal jacket out of deference to the Hague Conventions -- but your personal safety begs no such reservations. This is also a fine ammunition for range training, owing to its cost-effective and dense bullet’s ability to maintain its velocity over great distances, as well as its rounded profile’s tendency to penetrate a variety of targets effectively.

Fiocchi’s products are always very good, a perfect synthesis of Italian engineering and American craftsmanship. (Most of their centerfire pistol ammo that sells here is made here too.) You can rely on this round’s clean burning propellant, reloadable brass casing, and non-corrosive primer to provide you with only the best, however you plan to use them.
