CCI Ammunition 27 Grain Copper-Plated Hollow-Point (CPHP) Ammo Details

Copper-plated rounds are a great way to reduce lead fouling in your vintage .22 Short rifle. This increases accuracy which is inherently important for hunting small critters and birds. With a relatively fast muzzle velocity and an open nose cavity, shooters can expect these bullets to penetrate far past the skin layer while experiencing a mushroom-like increase in diameter. This calculated deformation opens up wider wound cavities in order to drop small game where it stands. Each bullet is crimped into a factory-rolled rimfire brass case that has a non-corrosive priming mixture inside its base.

CCI has been around since the early 1960s and has a great reputation for component primers which are routinely used in other companies' factory loads. Their rimfire ammo is known to be affordable and offers consistent quality as well as dependable function. Each 100-round box in this 5000-round case has a sliding lid so that you can pour out 1 to 10 rounds at a time to suit your needs.
