Federal Ammunition 150 Grain Fusion Ammo Details

Generations of serious shooters have trusted Federal Premium. One of the most-respected names in the industry, Federal Premium produces some of the most technologically advanced sporting ammunition on the market today. The company’s Fusion line was developed specifically for hunting whitetails and offers generous expansion, deep penetration, and hard-hitting terminal energy transfer.

This is Federal Fusion 7mm Remington Magnum ammunition. Each high-quality cartridge is loaded with a 150 grain Fusion soft point projectile. These patented projectiles feature an extreme pressure-formed lead core surrounded by a pure copper jacket. These two components are “fused” together by a unique electrochemical bonding process. The result of this fused design is excellent weight retention and powerful energy transfer that radiates a lethal shockwave through soft tissue. Fusion bullets also feature a skived jacket that enhances terminal expansion for highly effective on-game performance. Additionally, Fusion projectiles have a streamlined profile and a precisely balanced center of gravity. Specially engineered for in-flight stability and excellent ballistic performance, these loads deliver flat trajectories and repeatable long-range accuracy.

This ammunition is 100 percent non-corrosive, boxer primed, and features premium, reloadable brass cases. Leaving the muzzle at a blistering 3050 feet per second, each round generates 3098 foot pounds of game-dropping muzzle energy. Each package contains 20 factory fresh rounds suitable for hunting whitetails, mulies, elk, and other big game animals.

I can't be certain, but bullet appears to have passed thru at 500 yds, dragging a piece of liver or lung along w/ it; but for all that, its damned accurate.
