Sellier & Bellot Ammunition 142 Grain Hollow-Point Boat Tail (HP-BT) Ammo Details

Every American has a beef with paper. That’s the same material they made us all do our homework on. But now that you’ve found a good infusion of high-quality 6.5 Creedmoor long-distance target ammo, you can take your revenge on any piece of paper you can shoot.

This is 142 grain hollow point boat tail ammunition. If you already speak gun and know the bullet, then enjoy this ammo data: G1 BC 0.553; G7 BC 0.278; 2,625 fps MV w/23.5” test bbl; 1:8” optimal.

If you’re unfamiliar with the HPBT, it is a precision shooting bullet designed to provide better accuracy over longer distances than an FMJ. The HPBT’s nose cavity does not produce terminal expansion like you would want for hunting. The HPBT’s once-liquid lead core was poured through the tip of the bullet’s copper alloy jacket. This promotes uniform core density, and it also permits the jacket to cover the base of the bullet for resistance to vaporizing propellant gasses. Its base’s boat tail profile helps the bullet conserve momentum downrange.

Sellier & Bellot produces this factory fresh 6.5 CM ammunition for the commercial market. The Czech manufacturer loads new reloadable brass cases, non-corrosive Boxer primers, and steel-free nonmagnetic bullets.
