Clever, exciting stuff from Winchester yet again! This 350 Legend cartridge (one of Winchester’s most recent contributions to the shooting world) is outfitted with a distinctive 150 grain Extreme Point. The bullet has got a lot of polymer, just a big old black tip that takes up very nearly half of its frontal area. Such a beefy polymer tip causes virtually instantaneous expansion of the bullet during penetration, accompanied by massive energy transfer. A deer hates it when virtually instantaneous expansion accompanied by massive energy transfer takes place within its body, because that kills them.

Winchester’s Extreme Point is designed to do more than wreak havoc inside its target -- it’s also optimized to get there reliably as well. The bullet’s jacket is concentrically drawn around a uniform core, and its big tip is centered and symmetrical to heighten its accuracy tremendously. The Extreme Point’s profile is engineered to flatten trajectory and retain energy as well. Top it off with Winchester’s top shelf components, and you’ve got a real winner on your side come hunting season.
