Remington Ammunition 150 Grain TSX Ammo Details

There aren’t many ecological challenges in this world that can be solved via rifles. Invasion of the fast spreading kudzu plant in Florida? Inability of giant pandas to reproduce quickly enough to replenish their stock? Erosion of the Great Barrier Reef? All pressing issues, but shoot at any of them and you’ll be ridiculed and/or jailed. Not so with America’s wild hog problem -- shoot them all day long, stack their bodies like sand bags if you like, and you’re doing everyone (except the hogs) a huge favor. Whether you’ve an ecological spirit or just like hunting hog for the sport’s own merits, you’ll absolutely love this 30-30 round from Remington’s Hog Hammer line of ammunition.

This cartridge features Barnes’ 150 grain TSX projectile. Its sleek profile, shank grooves, and precision heel radius all give it the accuracy it needs to find its way to porcine targets reliably downrange. It’s a thoroughly tough bullet owing to its 100 percent copper composition, so it’s able to pierce tough boar hide and retain nearly all of its weight during penetration. As it penetrates, the hollow point bullet will expand to extend four razor sharp petals that shred pork to drop pigs in an instant. By virtue of its monolithic construction the TSX is legal for hunting use in California, and causes extremely little bore fouling to maintain your rifle’s accuracy.

Devastating Impact. Six 'flower' petals peeled back, and were all intact when found. 350 lb Hog had a fist-sized exit hole starting about where his heart used to be. It looked like he got hit with a 50 HP blender. Win 30-30, 60 yards.
