This 270 Win cartridge from Fiocchi’s Exacta line of ammunition features Swift’s own 130 grain Scirocco II projectile. The state of the art bullet features a very high ballistic coefficient owing to both its secant ogive nose profile and its boat tail design. The bullet’s streamlined shape is further complemented by its black pointed tip, which also initiates expansion as it is driven deep within its core upon impact. This bullet’s ability to expand is complemented by its progressively tapered pure copper jacket, which is bonded to its core to promote ideal weight retention for a deep and wide wound channel. The Scirocco II further offers a long driving band to improve its rotational stability and a thick base that virtually eliminates deformation while firing.
