Federal Ammunition 130 Grain Fusion Ammo Details

For more than a century, Federal Premium has been providing shooters with high-quality, affordable, American-made ammunition. Offering some of the most technologically advanced ammunition on the market, Federal Premium provides powerful, reliable performance for a variety of sporting applications. The company’s Fusion line was developed specifically for whitetails, delivering generous terminal expansion and hard-hitting weight retention.

This package contains 20 rounds of Federal Fusion .270 Winchester ammunition. Each factory fresh cartridge is loaded with a 130 grain Fusion soft point projectile. These patented projectiles are manufactured with an extreme pressure-formed core and a pure copper jacket. The core and jacket are joined using a unique electrochemical bonding process. This “Fusion” process virtually eliminates problematic core/jacket separation, resulting in excellent weight retention and effective terminal energy transfer. Fusion soft points radiate a lethal shock through soft tissue producing devastating results. These bullets also feature a unique skiving design for reliable expansion that punch wide wound channels in soft tissue. The result is catastrophic damage that drops deer quickly and humanely.

Providing excellent long-range accuracy, Fusion projectiles are engineered with a sleek aerodynamic profile and a precisely balanced center of gravity. This design improves ballistic performance and minimizes bullet drop over distance, extending your weapon's effective range.

Federal Fusion rounds are non-corrosive, boxer primed, reloadable, and brass cased. Each round generates a consistent muzzle velocity of 3050 feet per second and a muzzle energy of 2685 foot pounds.
