Here we have an AR-15 sharpshooter’s delight – Nosler’s Custom Competition 223 Rem ammo! Each round in this box of 20 sports a 77 grain bullet, which is 20 percent heavier than usual. This measurably increases the bullet’s ballistic coefficient so you can enjoy a flatter trajectory as you’re sniping out itty bitty targets. Make sure your barrel twist is fast enough to fully benefit from so massive a bullet!But as a Custom Competition, this round’s bullet has more to offer than bulk alone. The HPBT features a narrow hollow point meplat and aggressively tapered boat tail, which unite to drive its ballistic coefficient up even further – 0.182 (G7) when all is said and done. The Custom Competition also offers the sharpshooter its precision engineered copper jacket and form-fitted lead alloy core, giving it the balance it needs to follow a very long trajectory very, very tightly.
