Military Surplus 148 Grain Full Metal Jacket (FMJ) Ammo Details

Many nations’ names are synonymous with fine engineering, but perhaps none so much as Germany’s. That’s why you can place your full confidence in military surplus from the place, and we’ve got it to offer by the case. This 308 Win round was manufactured by the catchily named Chemnitzer Sportwaffen und Munitionsfabrik GmbH, most likely around the 1990s, and it has been repackaged for sale throughout the international market. These rounds’ brass casings are outfitted with non-corrosive primers, so they haven’t fared worse for sitting around for so long. Note that these rounds’ primers are of the Berdan persuasion, however, and therefore will almost certainly only be fired once.

This cartridge bears a 148 grain full metal jacketed projectile. The jacket is made of cupronickel, an alloy that is silvery in color and metallic to boot. You can expect this round’s bullet to stave off the excessive fouling known to impact a rifle’s accuracy, and also to penetrate most media with great reliability.
