These rugged clear plastic glasses satisfy military standard MIL-PRF-31013, 3.5.1.1 – that means they provide four times the protection required by OSHA’s ANSI Z87.1 safety standard. If a shard of copper or lead shrapnel decides to whiz back at your eyeball, it’s not going to send you packing to the emergency room.
Champion’s earmuffs provide passive protection against loud noises (that is to say they are not electronic). But they don’t need batteries to deliver a noise reduction rating of 26 decibels. That’s going to keep your ears from ringing even if you’re firing a powerful rifle, and the muffs only become more effective in conjunction with foam earplugs.
